This is the VR Bonkers SEO audit tool. Enter the address of any page and it runs automated checks on your search fundamentals and on how ready your content is for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity. There is no signup, and you can save the finished report as a PDF.

Two different questions, and most audit tools only answer the first. This one answers both: it reads your page the way a search engine does, and it checks whether the AI crawlers are allowed in and can read what they find.

What the SEO audit checks

• Speed: Core Web Vitals and page speed from Google PageSpeed Insights.
• On-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings and content, showing the real values found on your page.
• Technical SEO: indexability, canonical tags, sitemap, robots.txt and structured data.
• Accessibility: source-level accessibility checks on the page you submit.
• Local signals: local business signals found on the page.
• AI readability: whether ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can crawl and read your content.

AI visibility: which crawlers are checked

The audit reads your robots.txt and tests whether these AI crawlers are allowed: GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, CCBot and meta-externalagent. It also checks whether your content is still readable without JavaScript. These checks do not measure actual AI citations.

How the audit works

1. Enter your website address and start the audit.
2. It takes about 20 to 40 seconds. Google loads your page on a simulated phone and desktop while the tool reads your source, robots.txt and sitemap.
3. Read the report, with the evidence behind every finding and a prioritised list of what to fix first, then save it as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up?

No. Submitted addresses are processed by our audit service and Google PageSpeed Insights, so avoid private or sensitive links.

Can the audit tell me whether ChatGPT will quote my site?

No tool can promise that. The audit checks crawler permissions and how readable your content is for AI assistants. It does not measure real citations or predict rankings.

Does a high score guarantee better rankings?

No. Scores are weighted diagnostics of the page you submit. They are not a ranking or citation prediction, and unassessed checks are labelled as such rather than counted as failures.
